I have been in Ethiopia for a conference, so I was not there for touristic purposes. I think this is an important information for those who will read my comment. The hotel was very close to the place where the conference was held so I could go walking. There are a couple of people begging for money in the streets but in the hotel surroudings I never suffered any type of dangerous. One must pay attention that the hotel is localized in a bussines center, surround by several other hotels, so security in this location is specially enhanced. There are a lot of facilities in the surroundings, but if u want to explore the city you must leave this beatiful bublle and go for the city. I liked eveyhting in the hotel. Wifi was working properly diverging from others comments that I have read. The city is cold at night but the recepcionist gave me extra blankets. Food can be served 24h and it tastes amazing! breakfast was amazing as well. one can order omelletes or scrambled eggs. Sauna is ok, nothing special. room was big and confortable. Transfer from hotel to aiport also worked very nicely.

Our stay at the Grand Palace Hotel was truly enjoyable, and we left with great memories of the wonderful hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who always welcomed us with a smile. Whether it was the cleaners, restaurant staff, receptionists, or gym attendants, everyone made us feel at home. The service was excellent across the board, and we particularly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere created by the people at the entrance. Each day, we felt as though we were returning to a place of comfort and warmth. During our stay, we were informed that the street in front of the hotel would be fixed soon. Once that improvement is made, we believe the Grand Palace will undoubtedly be the best hotel in the entire city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rank it a solid 9 out of 10. We look forward to returning and seeing the continued growth of such a fantastic hotel.

This place truly exceeded all expectations. It felt very luxurious from the moment you walk in. The spa is incredible and I had an amazing massage for an amazing value. Everything on the spa menu is worth it. The gym facilities are more than I could have imagined. They have everything you need for a full workout plus the steam and sauna are really good as well. I'd highly recommend this place. It was about 10 minutes from the airport and the breakfast buffet was really good in the morning as well.

The staff was very friendly and willing to go an extra mile to assist me. I mean Madam Lena and team even bought me body scrubbing gloves since I forgot my loofah 😅...and she even walked me around the neighborhood,sharing good stories with me. I also got a chance to enjoy the steam sauna. I didn't mind their food- they understood when I asked for spicy👌🏾💕🌶️ Room Service was good 💯

For ethiopian level it's an ok hotel after all. It's not a 5 stars but they try to be at least 4,5. Good room, mediocre amenities, not bad but not 5 stars breakfast, acceptable dinner a la carte. People try to help you. Complimentary transfer to and from airport is a big advantage. Price is acceptable. Most chain 5 stars hotels in Addis Ababa cost much more.
